About us
ZENNER Connect operates a secure LoRaWAN® network for the housing and real estate industry, municipalities, energy suppliers and industrial customers. ZENNER Connect is registered with the Federal Network Agency as a LoRaWAN® network operator, as such this registration is not required for managed network customers. What’s more, we operate the ZENNER Datahub, an ISO 27001-certified platform for secure data exchange.
ZENNER is an active member of the LoRa Alliance® as a sponsor. LoRaWAN® is the innovative wireless standard for Internet of Things applications and is characterised by a long transmission range, exceptional building penetration and at the same time optimum energy efficiency. Smart participation: ZENNER International acquires IT specialist Hessware
ZENNER International acquires a majority holding in Mannheim-based IT specialists Hessware, which has since traded as ZENNER Hessware. The process enabled the further development from the CLS Centre to the external market participant platform. The development of new customer segments and groups was facilitated by ZENNER’s strategic investment.
Foundation of Minol ZENNER Connect as LoRAWAN Network Operator
In the course of the digitalisation of the energy industry, ZENNER is developing many new IoT solutions for municipal utilities and energy suppliers. With the foundation of Minol ZENNER Connect GmbH, ZENNER has added another important element to its solution portfolio. The new company supports municipal utilities and municipalities in setting up and operating LoRaWAN® networks.
Minol ZENNER Connect and ZENNER Hessware merge to form ZENNER Connect
For several years now, the two companies Minol ZENNER Connect and ZENNER Hessware have been working in close cooperation within the Minol-ZENNER Group and together provided municipal utilities, energy suppliers, municipalities and the housing industry with a comprehensive infrastructure to digitalise the energy transition. Since September 2023, the two companies have been continuing on their common path in a new form, as ZENNER Connect GmbH.
