Recap: Zenner showcases networked solutions at Enlit Europe 2025
Published:28. Nov 2025From 18 to 20 November 2025, Zenner International GmbH & Co. KG presented digital solutions for smart and resilient infrastructures at Enlit Europe 2025 in Bilbao. At the LoRa Alliance’s joint stand, the company presented the new B.One solution world under the motto “Adapt yourself”.
Saarbrücken, November 2025. In view of increasing extreme weather events, growing urbanisation and rising energy and water demands, adaptability is currently crucial for cities and utilities to position themselves for the future and make themselves crisis-proof. To support this, Zenner provided impulses for resilient and networked infrastructures at Enlit Europe.

LoRaWAN: Key technology for digital infrastructures
One key insight from the trade fair was that LoRaWAN will continue to play a central role in digital supply and smart urban development in the future thanks to its scalability and flexibility. The open radio standard offers enormous advantages to energy suppliers, cities and municipalities thanks to its long range and low energy consumption. Many different applications can be implemented via a single network.
“This year, it became clear that it’s not just about LoRaWAN as a wireless technology, but about the entire ecosystem of meters, platforms and services. Discussions with partners and practical examples show that real added value can only be created through the interaction of the entire portfolio”,
explains Jan-Philipp Exner, Head of Strategic Project Development Smart City Strategy & Solution Integration at Zenner.
B.One: The digital solution world of the Minol-Zenner Group
The focus of the trade fair presentation was the new B.One solution world of the Minol-Zenner Group, which was unveiled for the first time at Enlit Europe. It combines all components of digital infrastructures – from measurement technology and sensor technology to platforms and software. All B.One devices are recognisable to customers by a label, thereby guaranteeing interoperability and reliability. B.One supports utilities and cities in using data intelligently and operating their digital infrastructure comprehensively.
The advantages of the ecosystem were highlighted at Enlit. The exchange showed that the path is leading away from individual technologies and towards networked, scalable infrastructures. Those who want to remain future-proof must operate systems throughout their entire life cycle.
Exner adds: “It is important to think beyond individual solutions – they enable you to get started, but the real added value comes when you understand and operate the entire digital infrastructure, from physical meters to platforms and data.”

Boris Stöckermann, Head of Business Development, Strategy, Marketing & eCommerce at Minol-Zenner, summarises the trade fair participation: “The launch of B.One has already attracted attention outside the exhibition grounds and enabled many inspiring discussions at the stand. A big thank you to all customers, partners and interested parties for the valuable exchange and the shared vision for future projects.”
Participating in Enlit Europe 2025 gave Zenner the opportunity to present practical solutions for resilient infrastructures to cities and utilities. It became clear that the full added value of digital infrastructures can only be realised by utilising the entire portfolio.
